We welcome back our partner 240 Strings to the Ballroom for another FREE community concert. Gypsy music was a fascinating draw in many European cafes, so interesting that Haydn wrote the last movement of his Gypsy trio in the Hungarian gypsy style. Schoenfield’s Café Music was inspired by his stint playing background piano music in a restaurant. And the Fauré? It hardly needs a program note because while listening, you will be transported to a lovely cafe in France.
