Caldecott winning author/illustrator Brian Floca will share his creative process and his love for nonfiction picture books. Join Illustration Institute & Mechanics’ Hall and take an illustrated trip through history, to the Moon and back down to present day Earth! This event is free and open to all, but seating is limited so registration is required; visit Eventbrite to reserve your seats. All attendees are required to wear masks for the duration of their visit. Please note that this event has moved to Mechanics’ Hall from a previous location.
Illustration Institute‘s mission is to raise appreciation and awareness of illustration in its many forms. ii seeks to provide people of all ages the opportunity to learn directly from master artists and working professionals through exhibitions and workshops provided at public libraries, museums, schools, and other community venues.
