Event Details

Founded in 2011 by former Mechanics’ Hall librarian Pat Larrabee, Pat’s Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at noon. All book selections are chosen by the members of this book club and announced for the upcoming year. See below for the full list of upcoming selections. This month’s selection is Crooked Hallelujah by Kelli Jo Ford.

Newcomers are welcome; membership is encouraged. This in-person event will be taking place outdoors at the Longfellow Garden at the Maine Historical Society. Many thanks to our partners at M.H.S. for providing this space! If the weather fails to cooperate, the discussion will take place in the board room at Mechanics’ Hall.

Membership with Mechanics’ Hall is free for students and starts at just $50 a year for individual memberships, which includes use of the library, free and discounted access to programs, and much more. Consider becoming a member today and helping to support programs like this.

We have a copy of each selection available through the library; email us at library@mainemechanics.org to see if ours is available. Alternatively, consider purchasing a copy from Print: A Bookstore.
