Calling all textile artists! Are you a knitter, tatter, weaver, crocheter, rug hooker, quilter, cross-stitcher, or any other sort of person who plays with fibers? Join us on the third Wednesday of the month at noon for a chance to rejuvenate and connect with your fellow crafters. For the first half hour, we’ll work individually on our projects while we listen to some music, and for the second half hour we’ll share our work and chat. Bring your lunch if you’d like!
Newcomers and drop-ins welcome; membership is encouraged. Email us at library@mainemechanics.org to receive the Zoom link.
Membership with Mechanics’ Hall is free for students and starts at just $50 a year for individual memberships, which includes use of the library, free and discounted access to programs, and much more. Consider becoming a member today and help support programs like this.
Funding has been provided by The Maine Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) as part of the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act economic stabilization plan of 2020.
