Making a Photograph with dance photographer Arthur Fink. A photograph appears to be made in an instant, with the press of a shutter. But Arthur will break through this illusion showing us some of the scenes that caught his eye and the set of images he took for them: each seeming closer to the picture he had imagined. He will reveal the editing process that identified one frame to use, and finally, the cropping and other changes he made. Please note: This will not be a technical talk.

FREE for Mechanics’ Hall members, $5 general admission. 7:00-8:30PM.  Elevator access to second floor library.
