This month’s selection is America for Beginners by Leah Franqui. Pival starts her journey from India to California to discover what happened to her son, Rahi. This debut novel explores the complexities of family, immigration and prejudice through meaningful and unlikely friendships. Bring your lunch, but tea and sweets will be served. All are welcome. Pre-reading of the book is not necessary!
