Anne B. Gass retraced the 1915 famous road trip of 3 women who drove from San Francisco to Washington, D.C. to bring signatures and a petition to Congress and President Wilson demanding women’s right to vote. Learn about the suffrage movement and Anne’s connection to it. She is the author of “Voting Down the Rose” which highlights her great grand-mother, Florence Brooks Whitehouse’s role in the woman’s suffrage movement.
FREE and open to the public. 6:00-7:00PM. Elevator access to second floor library.
