15 Sep Maine Historical Society’s New Exhibit – Creative Maine

Maine Historical Society’s new exhibit, Creative Maine, explores the creativity and ingenuity that created the Maine economy.  In 1841, MCMA members marched down Congress St. carrying banners to advertise their skills.  Thanks to the efforts of MHS, the banners have had some conservation work and are beautifully displayed in this exhibit, along with interest facts and stories.  The exhibit runs through Jan. 13, 2018.  Please visit www.mainehistory.org for more details.
