Ever wanted to join a writers’ group, but weren’t sure what to expect? Do you love getting sneak-peeks of works-in-progress? We have the event for you! The Casco Bay Writers’ Project at Mechanics’ Hall presents an Evening of New Work: join us on Wednesday, December 15^th from 6:00-7:30pm in the Library for an exciting evening of readings and discussion.

The Casco Bay Writers’ Project meets every Thursday from 11am-1pm in the Boardroom! Led by John Brogan and Susan T. Landry, this group believes that each person is interesting and has a story to tell. New members are always welcome!

With members ranging in experience, including seasoned veterans, published writers, and writers who are just beginning to share their work, the Writers’ Project invites everyone to be part of the conversation. And with a wide diversity of the writing styles — including memoir; history-based creative nonfiction; short tales of crimes, passion, and other dark impulses; poetry; adventure stories – there is sure to be something for everyone.
