As part of Portland’s First Friday Art Walk, Deborah Goffe (Director of Hartford, CT -based Scapegoat Garden) will lead participants in crafting the human-scale paper flowers performers and audiences will inhabit in the upcoming performances of Liturgy|Order|Bridge at Mechanics’ Hall this June. With a little crepe paper, hot glue, and patience, we will grow the garden that has been developing around the project since 2017.

While crafting these sacred objects for the project, we hope these workshops make space and time for us to channel our world- and community-building capacities together.
