Join us for our first meeting of the new Mechanics’ Hall Book Club. This new book club will meet every third Tuesday of the month at 6:30 and will feature selections across genres, with a particular focus on diverse voices, contemporary issues, and creativity.
This month we will be discussing James Baldwin’s classic, “Go Tell It on the Mountain.”
Newcomers and drop-ins welcome; membership is encouraged. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Zoom link.
Membership with Mechanics’ Hall is free for students and starts at just $50 a year for individual memberships, which includes use of the library, free and discounted access to programs, and much more. Consider becoming a member today and helping to support programs like this.
We have a copy available through the library; email us at email@example.com to see if ours is available. Alternatively, you can purchase a copy from Print: A Bookstore or search for it on the Portland Public Library’s e-book resources.
