About the workshop from Rick:

These workshops are supportive and one of the many benefits seen over the years is the development of a lifelong community between participants. It’s intense, focused, and committed to the group’s betterment. What works best is if a participant brings a piece they’ve stalled out on and are seeking help with rather than a polished, near-finished piece—but that is each writer’s choice, of course. Up to 18 pages of poetry or prose can be worked on. One of the great pleasures of the workshop is the curation (not just by me, but with the assistance of other participants) of a personalized reading list for the year ahead, specific to your work.

Mechanics’ Hall Member: $1260

Non-Member: $1400

Masking is not required, though it is more than welcome based on your comfort level. Snacks will be available in the classroom throughout the day.  For further information on the workshop and registration, please contact laurenstockless@mainemechanics.org
