“Civic Co-Design: Maintenance and Innovation.”  Nick Kaufmann is a leader of Open Maine, a civic tech collective in the Code for America network. He has a background in sociology, city design, radio, storytelling and translation. He will be joined by collaborator Mark Wakefield, a member of Open Maine and public figure in the Congress street area who works as a crossing guard, helps with the annual Greek Festival, and volunteers with Friends of Congress Square Park. Refreshments and conversation to follow the presentation.

FREE for Mechanics’ Hall members, $5 general admission. 7:00-9:00PM.  Elevator access to second floor library.
