Founded in 2011 by former Mechanics’ Hall librarian Pat Larrabee, Pat’s Book Club meets on the first Tuesday of each month at noon. All book selections are chosen by the members of this book club and announced for the upcoming year. See below for the full list of upcoming selections. This month’s selection is Whistling Past the Graveyard by Susan Crandall.
Newcomers are welcome; membership is encouraged. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to receive the Zoom link.
Membership with Mechanics’ Hall is free for students and starts at just $50 a year for individual memberships, which includes use of the library, free and discounted access to programs, and much more. Consider becoming a member today and helping to support programs like this.
We have a copy for each selection available through the library; email us at email@example.com to see if ours is available. Alternatively, you can purchase a copy from Print: A Bookstore or search for it on the Portland Public Library’s e-book resources.
