As the first Tues. is New Year’s day, our book club will meet on the 2nd Tues. to discuss Spoken from the Heart by former First Lady Laura Bush. Mrs. Bush candidly discusses her childhood in West Texas oil town of Midland, her close relationship with her parents and childhood friends that are still with her today. Feb. 5 book will be The Yellow Birds by Kevin Powers and Mar. 5 will be Before We Were Yours by Lisa Wingate. After the Mar. 5 discussion, we will pick the next 4 or 5 books, so bring your suggestions! All are welcome, tea and sweets will be served. 12:00-1:00PM.
